We will require the following information to submit a request about Whatsapp approval:
- Company Name
- Company Website
- Company HQ Country
- Facebook Business Manager ID
- Company Vertical
- Use Case
- Regions you are sending messages to
- How many messages you are sending per month during the first year?
The carrier should review the information to submit the request. Usually, this process takes up to 14 days.
2. Proceed with Onboarding
To proceed with onboarding, you should have a verified Facebook Business Manager account. If you don’t have it then you have to do the following:
- Approve Twilio on Facebook Business Manager
- Verify Facebook Business Manager account
It will take 7-14 business days for Facebook to review and verify your Facebook Business Manager account.
Facebook requires all companies to verify their identity in order to maintain a healthy WhatsApp ecosystem.
As soon as the Facebook Business Manager is approved and verified, the Nectar Desk Customer Success team will submit a sender profile for you.
To create a Sender profile we should know the area code of the number you’d like to use for Whatsapp. This process takes up to 5 business days.
So, the process of integrating Whatsapp with Nectar Desk takes about 1 month.
It’s possible to create Whatsapp templates that can be used for initiating conversation with contact or/ and for Email Campaigns.
