Two-factor authentication
Nectar Desk is going to be more secure as we care about our customers.
Today we’re adding two-factor authentication (2FA) to Nectar Desk.
2FA is a security system that requires two distinct ways of identification to access the account.
In other words, 2FA adds a layer of security to the account login process by requiring that a user provide two ways of authentication. The first step is your password. The second step is a code in your email inbox.
When you enable this feature, as we said earlier, it adds a layer of security to your account. When logging in to Nectar Desk, after providing your username and password, you will be asked for a two-factor authentication code that is delivered to your email.
*Please note that the verification code is available for 10 minutes only, then it expires.
This additional step ensures that a person who has discovered your password will not be able to log in to Nectar Desk as you.
